The DECON team decommissioned, decontaminated, and disposed of 13 hazardous material aboveground storage tanks. Tasks conducted by the DECON team included:

• Appling for and obtained the required environmental permits,
• Preparing and implementing the tank closure workplan
• Implementing hazardous material removal from the tanks and decontaminating the tanks,
• Confirming decontamination of the tanks
• Disposing of the tanks at an appropriate recycling facility
• Preparing environmental regulatory agency closure of the tanks
