The DECON team served as the Environmental Engineer of Record for the demolition and redevelopment of a 21-acre food and beverage processing plant in Hayward, California.  Tasks conducted by the DECON team included:

• Applied for and obtained the required environmental permits,
• Prepared and implemented hazardous building materials survey plans,
• Implemented hazardous material removal,
• Prepared hazardous and non-hazardous waste management plans
• Conducted air monitoring and reporting for dust and hazardous material exposure during hazardous building material removal and general construction activities
• Prepared and implemented environmental site assessment plans
• Prepared environmental site closure report
