The DECON team conducted soil, groundwater, and soil vapor environmental assessment activities at a functioning radio transmission site.  Site assessment activities included:

• Applying for and obtaining the required environmental permits,
• Preparing a health and safety plan to account for radio frequency exposure hazards
• Drilling soil borings and collecting soil and groundwater samples
• Constructing permanent soil vapor monitoring wells and collecting soil vapor samples
• Submitting soil, groundwater, and soil vapor samples to a state certified laboratory for analysis
• Preparing and submitting a site assessment report presenting the results of the site assessment sampling activities.
